Map Purpose
Offer clients a souvenir map highlighting all the African countries and regions where the tour operator offers unique travel experiences and safaris.

Challenge
Design a detailed, full-continent map that balances clarity and visual appeal while covering a vast geographic area and a large number of destinations.

Project Description
This map was created as a poster for Encompass Africa to showcase the diversity of experiences they offer across the African continent. Inspired by vintage political maps, the design marks the countries they operate in and features zoomed-in insets of the Indian Ocean islands and iconic national parks like Kruger and Serengeti. It was created to double as a promotional piece and a keepsake for travelers.

Illustrations
While no illustrative landmarks were included, the map features a custom compass rose, textured backgrounds, and an earthy, vintage-inspired color palette to give it a distinctive and timeless look.
